About The Artwork
In my botanical themed work, I am inspired by the design found in natural botanical structures along with its magnificent colors and textures. Each seem to have a natural center or line running through it. This work was quite complex in its design and color. Although the main color is pink, I used a variety of from cool to warm reds and magentas, opera, sap green, veridian, prussian green, and other cool colors to make the flower itself stand out from it's greenery. Presenting it in a larger format brings life to any room it hangs in. I wanted it to be prominent in viewing it near and far.
