At some point, we have experienced changes in the sensations of cold, heat, hunger, thirst, eating, sleep, etc., but just in those changes, is when the hypothalamus keeps us in a constant regulation according to those needs. Reversibility is a characteristic of our neuro-plasticity, adapting our biology through behaviors in order to survive, so that this condition allows us to be equally reversible in all areas of life. The abstract interpretation highlights this invisible human characteristic; It led me to consider the image of a hypothalamus scanner in intense activity in magenta and orange, contrasting it with another blackened image where there is no more activity. I have called this pictorial process "Symmetrical Abstraction" to create patterns of compositions of colors, forms, and in general any visual element, which has as starting point what in mathematics is known as bilateral flat symmetry, that is, folding a section half of a plane or canvas on another middle section of the same plane or canvas, so that when the surfaces of both sections are contacted with the paint still wet in between, the copying of all the forms of one section on the other will take place; both sides or sections thus obtain similar shapes in proportion of paint and shapes.
