Two Hawks Painting

All the colors you see are pure mineral pigments I collected myself from the earth.(majority found in the mountains of Cauca Colombia) After drying and processing I mix them with water then glue to make an especially wonderful paint. “Two Hawks” is one of my favorites of the bird series 2019. I painted it under the residual effects of an LSD trip that I had taken earlier that day. Because of my state of mind I was able to implement A pattern type that best represents a common hallucination that LSD sometimes brings. This painting is also in Appreciation of ancient Japanese artist styles. The poem that accompanies this piece was written by Noah Blaze Donavan My descent mid air collision having ridden thermals up a kettle of vultures to the east head south for the winter you too can see them circling the thermals you see me as a lover right above me soon our talons lock as we spiral the mid-air collision of us.
