'I want to celebrate the free, rebellious side of nature: the moss and ferns growing in a gutter that one day seem to be flourishing and then dying the next, the little things that change, the fragility of life.' Heavily influenced by Willem De Kooning's large oil paintings, this piece adds structure to a somewhat random yet organic application of impasto oil paint.
