About The Artwork

The origin of water lilies is associated with myths, supposedly named after the white nymphs who were goddesses of the forest, the rivers. People worshiped them and considered them deities of nature. Legends of India say that the water lily emerged as a result of a star collision. (water lily, sun child, queen of water and mermaids) - Latin name for lamina Nymphaea, which means nymph in translation. According to a Greek legend, the water lily emerged from a white fairy that perished from undivided love and jealousy into Hercules. Scandinavian legends say that every lily flower has a friend - an elf who was born with her and dying with her, who protects her and gives her magical qualities. They are not seen in the sun because they are sleeping, and with the arrival of the first star. Latitude also has magical properties. This flower was endowed with the qualities of protecting people, it could give the power to overcome the enemy, protect it from poverty, but it could also destroy one who watched with unclean thoughts. The lilies were placed in a rag and worn like an amulet. There are plenty of stories, myths and legends, and all are distinguished by their extraordinary beauty, romanticism. They can be listened to for a long time, as well as to see such a wonderful miracle of nature - water lilies.
