About The Artwork
Riding in the back seat of a car in Vancouver, I saw through the raindrops on the window, a figure walking with a pink umbrella. The point of view is on the raindrops, so the blurred figure becomes the tale: where is she walking on this rainy afternoon? Her movement, so graceful, almost delicate as the raindrops themselves fits so nicely within the vertical shapes with their deep colors. She could be an apparition, or a character in a dream. And I laughingly tell people as they consider the blur of this image that if she were in focus, there would be no story at all! This image is best seen large--and the size has been carefully considered. It is professionally printed on archival matte finish cotton rag paper with three inch borders.
