A sad grove in winter without snow Photograph

I took this photo one late afternoon while I was coming home from a long walk in nature. It was maybe about sunset when I came across this small grove at the end of one large field. It was a cold January day but unfortunately without snow. The scene I saw looked very sad. I remembered this grove in spring or in autumn with beautiful colorful leaves and green grass but there was nothing of that beauty that day except maybe the interesting sky above. Only a small part of greenish grass remained in front of it to remind of the past days. The grove stood in front of me with bare branches as if begging for at least snow to fall and hide its nakedness and shame. It was a very sad and nostalgic rural scene so I took a shot and went on my way. One late winter afternoon at the beginning of January in Sumadija, Central Serbia.
