About The Artwork

People that inspire my work are artists such as Bruce Gilden, Mary Mark Ellen, Bruce Davidson, Steven McCurry, and many more. It's a continual process of finding meaning in my life. Some days it's in the studio, other on the streets or behind the books studying the greats. I try and find the understanding of both the consciousness and unconsciousness of people in my photos. I feel many people walk without purpose in their life, and it becomes very evident when one simply observers. All the subjects are unposed. Something spontaneous is lost when one is ask whether it is ok to take a picture. The image is done on Hahnemühle German Etching 100% a-cellulose paper, 310 g/m². Mould-made with distinct textured surface. Guarantees archival standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness It's a very high quality print that gives a really rough texture. Light does not effect the surface of the paper, which means the whites and blacks can simply take up all the attraction of your eye.
