What thrills me most is to capture the "aesthetic essence". I was born in Rome, Italy, in 1964, and lived in several Italian cities. In 2001 I moved to Morocco, then Turkey and India, In 2018 I came back to Italy, in Rome, where I currently live. I started shooting in my teens, with my father’s camera, a 1954 Zeiss Ikon, which I still love to use, beside the digital cameras. Quite soon I shifted from a hobby to a clear artistic activity, led by a deep attraction and passion which have never abandoned me. Today I am an independent fine art photographer and also a manager. Photography is my parallel profession, the artistic side of my life. Always in search of conveying emotions through pure photography, without altering the scenes in post-production, I sometimes use light, graining and out-of-focus out of the conventional techniques of shooting.
