About The Artwork
Taken on a hot day, in the middle of summer - this beach is usually deserted, due in part to the difficulty of access, and the fact that most visitors to the area are unaware that it exists. The bay is named after the mineral - carnelian, a form of agate that was once mined here. Pieces can still be found on the beach today.
