About The Artwork
City schetches project: In my view, the photography is a way of being related to the world and my fellow human beings, with curiosity, with constant attention and observation. They are my notebook. When we walk through the city, we come across a large number of unknown people, about whom we know nothing and who seem to leave no trace in our perception of the world. However, even if it is fleeting, just a minimal visual trace often out of focus, these people leave a visual trail in our consciousness that produces sensations in us, whether of sympathy, fear, tenderness... In this project, I wanted to show those that transmitted me a mixture of harmony, serenity, beauty... and also, sometimes, some sadness. It is a Giclée fine art printing, using inks that are pigment-based giving a really high-quality and a extremely long durability. Print with a 2 cm white border. It's printed on cotton paper, signed, dated and numered on the back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Avalilable in the following sizes: 29,5 x 20 in. I am a painter and photographer based in Zaragoza, Spain. For many years I worked on figurative paintings, but some years ago I started painting colorful abstract paintings. They are expressionist and geometric works. In all of them, emotions are the main subject. These paintings talk about feelings, try to tell stories. I tend to use bright colors in order to create vibrancy, dynamism and optimism. My paintings are a hymn to the beauty of nature and life. In my last works, I am experiencing with the combination of a painting and photographs in black and white. I call this collection "Emotional landscapes". In them I'm looking for a new interpretation of the landscape through the dialogue between photography and painting. My preferred mediums are oil and acrylic on canvas and I generally paint on hand stretched canvas. I also do limited edition photography prints on canvas. My work has been exhibed in solo, group and traveling exhibitions, and is hanging in private collections over the world.
