black & white sliver print from 9x12 sheet film 1:1, baryta base photographic paper, 1st limited edition (1/3) from the „Metropolis” series Signed and numbered by the artist. London 2012 Metropolises can become the mirrors of the 21th century. This idea started to be close and inspiring for me in London, where I lived for 2 years. A megalopolis can be defined by its movement, rush, vibes, architecture and people. Each city is different and has its own energy, which I am trying to capture.

Photography is one of my favourite forms of expression. It gives me ability to picture space and time existing here and now but also a kind of immateriality. I am interested in a variety of themes ranging from documentary through portrait and nude to top it off with creative photography. In all these subjects I am looking for singularity and curiosity in both physical and spiritual aspects. For as long as I can remember I have been in love with historical photography, especially from the 19th century. I admire its uniqueness, beauty and form as well as imperfections and vanishing. In my work I use both analogue and digital techniques. The most important for me is the idea, the concept of the image which I am trying to portray.
