Akmal Senja (1974). Born and settled in Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. He consistently paints about environmental situations and tropical rainforests. But not limited to that alone, ideas continue to develop dynamically. At other times he also painted about urban society. Oil on canvas has been the main choice since he first painted. However, painting using acrylic media, ink, coffee on paper has become a pleasure in itself.
