The small town of Oamaru, New Zealand, is renowned for it's Victorian Heritage. Sadly, many of the buildings are in a sad state of repair. This artwork shows the side of the Grain Elevator, now the Steampunk HQ. Years of neglect have taken their toll with the building appear to bleed from it's wounds. Colors saturated and an oil effect applied. The colors swirl and blend like a living thing tormented by neglect. Printed onto Hahnemuhle German Etching Paper, one print only.

New Zealand
I first picked up a digital camera in 2003 and have not looked back. I love the digital medium, looking at ways the imagination can come into play and at how the digital world can creep into the real. Many of my prints are sold as one off's, no more to be produced. I feel this creates a unique image that has more spirit than mass produced digital images.
