The base of this work is an analogue and staged photograph on Baryta photo paper ( from 6x7cm negative) and it is part of the Disaster Series ( Ria). You can find this work in my collection ´Disaster Series´.
This version is an unique copy ( edition #1 of 1) and painted with oil color on analogue b/w Baryta gelatin photo paper. The calligraphy is paste-like at some spots. The viewer can read different words in German language: Vorbote, Verbote, Brot, Votze, Ort... are just some of them.
It is the technique of anagram which inspired me when I was in the situation not to be allowed to exhibit an original photograph of a nude woman in a larger gallery context in 2013 as I had planned.
Well, in the end I like this work almost more than the image covered by the oil. It comes on a 20 x 17 inch Baryta paper, you will have a small white edge around the photograph.
