In Kabadio - in the south of Senegal there are some Quranic houses. For those who know West African culture, they know about Talibé culture (the Koran's apprentices). This is a delicate topic, as in some Quranic houses - especially those in the big capitals, children are exploited by false Marabous (religious guides). However in Kabadio, as it is a traditional Muslim village where important Quranic families like the Souanés and Daffés live, the Talibé culture is genuine. It is in the Quranic houses where the Koran is taught - where religious customs and good customs are learned. Nowadays children follow religious studies at the same time as traditional ones in traditional academic schools. It is thanks to religion and local culture that there is no misery in Kabadio, although with few resources, families live in harmony and in order. In Kabadio there is no misery - there is respect for others, discipline and a culture so intense in its multiplicity of ethnicities and peoples that the visitor is inebriated with joy and admiration.
