I shot this image while I was strolling through the streets of Cologne. This huge wall stopping me to see what's behind it represented my inner state of mind - the anxiety and confusion. This image is part of the large series of photographs called "Close looks" which is still in progress. During my travels, I collect images of scenes and impressions that serve as visual memory, a sort of visual diary in which I present my personal impressions and artistic values.

I was born in 1971 in Novi Sad, Serbia. Since I was a little girl, had an interest in photography and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to dedicate my life to it. I studied photography in Prague, from 2001 to 2015 worked as an editor in the magazine for the culture of photography - ReFoto in Belgrade, Serbia. Since 2009, I teach photography at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and Belgrade. In the present days as a full professor. As well, I'm active in the art scene in Belgrade, where I live. I exhibit my art work, work as a curator, organise and give lectures and workshops, write texts about photography and artists.
