Her achievements are a testament to her dedication and skill. She was honored by the Jewish Historical Institute in the photo competition "Historic Sites of Ghetto in Częstochowa" in Poland, 2016. This accolade is a reflection of her ability to capture poignant historical narratives through her lens. At the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre in NSW, Australia, Karolina's work received the 2nd Prize in the "Taking Flight" photo competition in 2015. This event celebrated the pioneering work of Lawrence Hargrave in aviation, and Karolina's highly commended entry was later exhibited at the: Articles Gallery in Stanwell Park, NSW, further amplifying her recognition in the field. Her exhibition at the Engine Room Gallery, Waiheke Island, New Zealand, in 2012 showcased her proficiency in alternative photography techniques like palladium, tintype, cyanotype, pinhole camera, Van Dyke brown, and light boxes. Karolina's participation in the Junction Arts Festival in August 2011 in Launceston, Tasmania, showcased her innovative blend of photography and digital art. Space in Boston, MA (2010); “AWAY” at the Gallery at Massachusetts College of Art (2010); and "Photography Atelier Exhibit" at Lesley University Hall (2010), all in the USA, have further solidified her reputation as an artist who seamlessly merges photography with computer-generated imagery.
