"Glucose" is part of "A New Planet" series https://cristinaburns.com/a-new-planet In the "A New Planet" series, worlds with alluring colours that appear to be made of sugar come to life and become twisted within their immobility before the eyes of the spectator. These works are put together through the digital elaboration of photographs, capturing the textures of sweets and candies, and each has been named from the confectionery business. They are universes in which one can easily become lost, leading to dependency.
