Mykonos island, Greece. One of the most expensive entertainment places on the planet. The Greeks say that if you were born in Mykonos, you don't have to worry about anything in life. It is enough to rent out the house during the summer season and you will be able to embody any of your wishes in your life. The cost of renting a sun lounger on a popular beach reaches several thousand euros. In fairness I must say that these are not really sun loungers, but real beds surrounded by light curtains. And if you want to relax in such a place, then you need to order this lounger in advance. All seats are taken! But the most amazing thing is that nearly 20-30 meters from these promoted beaches, you can take your seat just on the white sand absolutely free and comfortably. But these places are empty. People prefer to pay a lot of money to spend time in a noisy place with scurrying waiters, loud music and a bunch of other tourists. I have been doing photography for over 25 years. There were long breaks at one time, but I always returned to photography.12 years ago it finally became my profession. It was that time that I moved to live on the island of Mauritius, where I still spend most of my life. I remember how I was amazed by its beauty and atmosphere when I first came to the island. It became my love for the rest of the life. Here I meet the sunrise in the ocean in the company of whales and dolphins, go to the mountains, discover the waterfalls hidden from the eyes of tourists, return to the coast on the surf in complete darkness, guided only by the lights of hotels. Here I feel truly free. And here I am doing my favorite thing - photography. Certainly I don't spend all my time only in Mauritius. It is very difficult to live on a small island for the years without getting out. My family and I usually spend the summer in Russia, where I also take pictures a lot. In Russia we live in the south of the country, and here my life is also closely connected with the sea and the mountains. Besides that, I take a lot of pictures of surfing. I am often invited to work as a photographer for various surf camps and competitions. I work closely with such brands as Sony, Dakine and Manfrotto as their ambassador. But deep in my heart my expectations and hopes belong to reportage and landscape photography
