In the UK the double yellow line means strictly no parking and usually results in a parking penalty or a wheel clamping and penalty. This image is partly a bold abstract, partly a study of texture and partly a slice of humour at the absurdity of trying to clamp a road roller - let alone tow away such a beast. From a colour perspective, I was intrigued by the kerbside oil-leak which had tinted the faded yellow line to match the amber of the oxidised roller drum.
