Hurricane Season #1 Photograph - Limited Edition of 20

Discovering our mutual universes with Instagram, Pauline and I have long been willing to shoot together. From her posts I could see she had a little fire burning within, and from her stories I could guess she also grew a poetry for the little things: close up of a shell or a leaf here, reflections of the sun on water there, the sound of the waves or wind in the trees. To me, traveling is never a matter of distance, there is always so much to be discovered nearby. So in 2017, for her story I chose to take us to a remote region of France, La Drôme, very rural, authentic, a hilly countryside area with many rivers to wild bath. Pauline is a joyful girl, she laughs easily, and has a very unique way of feeling totally free with her body in front of the camera, being often delightfully amused by the reaction she can sometimes cause on men. She is having fun, always, freely, lightly, purely and simply. On the occasion of one of our river swim shoot, I love this photo we took together. Without showing her, it does show her amusement for everything, her inner sexiness, her strong poetry for fun, nature and simple happiness.
