Jack fiddled with the razor and filled his lungs with the heavy lingering smells of the barbershop. He thoroughly enjoyed working for this crowd and yet he was hesitant whether to get out of the chair or not. Somehow this was not a job he particularly looked forward to. Being honest with himself he knew it would make the darkness close even closer in on him. Money was being made in the belly of the beast and yes, it paid his living and yes, he had twisted arms before. Still, this felt different. This felt like something he´d never be able shake off or censure from his already packed nightmares. Jack turned his emotions closer to off and leaned forward in the chair getting ready to face whatever may come. His trail was long since mapped and was there really a choice but to walk it?"
