Naked woman and naked man, perhaps marine deities, sheltered in a giant oyster, seem to be in a deep conversation, or seduction operation. They have shell headress, and a desolated tree seems to anyway protect them against the waves. Sky and see have the same delicate and weird yellow-green colors. The original artwork (on sale too) is a handcut collage. The edition is limited to 7 prints + 2 artist proofs, regardless size of the print. Each of them is numbered, signed and provided with a certificate of authenticity. Printed on Fine Art paper, Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 g and laminated on Dibond.

Gaëlle Cueff lives in Paris. She has been mainly working on encaustic art and photography for last 2 years, and her topics are especially based on poetic potential of trees and forest. In a previous period she developed a work rooted largely in the world of cabinets of curiosities and surrealism. Her collages and assemblages combine elements of the animal kingdom, pictorial interventions and photographs in singular images with a strong narrative tendency. Her polysemic stories speak of hybridization, traces, memory. Some of her works are in Chinese, American, Swiss, French and Belgian private collections.
