About The Artwork

I often drove by the lovely light Installation at the MOCA Musuem in Los Angeles in the daytime and envisioned how mysterious and moody it would look if taken in Black and White at Night. So i ventured out late when there was less traffic, and walked around a while to set up My composition. The positioning of the poles created an infinite field of view which brought much delight and challenging perspectives photographing this unique work of Art.

I am a native of Los Angeles and grew up in the San Gabriel valley area. The origin of my artistic Endevours began early In life. As a teenager, i’ve Always admired the Vintage quality of fashion, and art. In 1998 A friend of mines who happened to be a painter, encouraged me to try and sell my photographs at Venice beach, so I took a leap of faith and embarked on a mission to share my creative eye with the world. I’ve always sought to offer the best in all my creative endevours, and my Photography was no exception. I’ve spent countless days, and night alone, meticulously searching for subjects that I admired. Getting up at 4am to load my car full of pictures frames And sleeved Photographs was truely a labor of love. To make a long story short, I was very successful in selling my works of Artat the beach. My landscape, and signature style peeked a lot of Interest with buyers. From there, I sought out to expand my portfolio, and always had my heart set towards architecture and street photography. One of my fondest moments happened when two women Had a little spat over who was buying one of my Original Photographs that I created in homage to the “Daguerreotype Type process”. I cristened the process a “Digital Daguerreotype” and added a few creative processes to it, that made it visually unique and appealing to the eye. After 911, the tourist business died for sometime, and I had to adjust to the sudden change in my life. I then branched out and marketed my works to some smaller galleries and Novelty shops around The Westside. I was warmly accepted to some galleries around West Hollywood at the time, and had a nice go at it. I stepped away after sometime to expand my horizon in The entertainment field, and have always longed to return to the art World. It’s 2018, and after a string of attending some art exhibits lately, and quietly building up an archive throughout the decade, l’ve decided, it’s time for a “Rebirth”. Keeping that flame for the love of art in my heart, has awoken me once again. I hope you enjoy...humbly yours.
