This photo is part of 3 selected pieces exhibited at Azúcar Gallery in Berlin, Germany. During a hot summer day. Having some tapas and a glass of fresh Sangria while chilling out in front of a calm and lonely Costa Brava ocean spot under a beautiful sailcloth which was moving with the rhythm of the refreshing wind and to the ocean's waves. Silence and harmony, only the mesmerizing elements of nature and this sailcloth. Photography is a medium that allows me capturing the instants on my own personal understanding of everything that surrounds me. Printed on Fine Art Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 305gms paper. Born in Mexico City, 1979.------------------- Based in Berlin.------------------------------- “Deconstruct to Reconstruct" - As an artist, I am continually seeking ways to materialize personal thoughts around daily contemplation. My work explores the emotional perception and physical behavior (body language) of subjects and objects in space; with a special focus on how alignment and color impact this approach. I draw inspiration from the tension between color, form, and texture found in our surroundings. Often my pieces are fragmented instants creating oneiric entities that fall for abstract compositions. ------------------------------------------------------ I work with an emphasis on collage techniques to create a big part of my art pieces, combining old-school with new media tools. My photographs are sculptures projecting a profound relation towards the momentum. Titles are strongly connected to the narrative of each piece.
