About The Artwork
My exploration into fine art photography challenges me to find unexpected ways to depict expected scenes. While on a farm in Scotland, I encountered large structures for growing plants.Nothing very interesting, until one considers the shape of these monstrous structures against the morning sky, ever changing. Bungee cords that secure the structure become ropes of color to contrast the white of the fabric. The result is something that might appear in a dream that remains unexplained yet something to remember: serene, soft, dreamlike. This is one in a series of two images--each printed on matte finish cotton rag archival paper with three-inch borders added to the listed dimension of the photograph.
