Vintage print of the early period on glossy paper MOTOCROSS • 1983 In those distant times, according to tradition (once a year) motocross competitions were held in the White Deer Doin. Balvi (Soviet Latvia) • The photo print has a black frame around the perimeter and a light thin frame made by a ruling pen (artistic whitewash) • There is yellowness on the reverse side to the edge. This is not a consequence of the chemicals. This was due to the fact that during the glossing of the photo print in a dark room (1983) I did not remove excess water from the surface of the photo print. • On the reverse side it is signed with karandosh. This signature has slightly pushed through the paper, and it can be seen on the front side (in the image) • The print does not have an ideal state of preservation, but a very good look for a print of 1983, since it was kept in a box all this time • The edges of the paper were slightly fuzzy. I cropped these edges a little and now the print looks good. • Paper size: 29x38 cm (11.4 "x 14.9") • Image size: 21.6 x 34.6 cm (8.5 "x 13.6") • Condition: Very good preservation for a print from that period.
