Over a year ago a neighbors fixed male cat decided to abandon his home and adopt us like his older sister had done (her family wasn’t nice his was) the year before. His owner has come and taken him home and he’s come right back. Apparently food is indeed his motivator plus it’s much calmer and quieter down at our end of the street than where he came from. He’s gotten fat but has maintained a functional panda body that allows him to still be a stealthy fast on his toes mouser. He’s rather the handsome fella, I think he knows it too. Image dimensions: 12.9 inch x 10 inch Framed dimensions: 16.7 inch x 13.8 inch Printed on ultraHD Photo Print on Fuji Crystal DP Maxima. Framed in a solid wood frame with Passe-Partout, 1.5 inch wide linen black bevel cut white core mat board with Mirogard museum glass to keep Mr. G looking good for decades to come.

I am a versatile artist specializing in the creation of photo-realistic portraits, impressionistic depictions of wildlife and botanicals, and abstract compositions. My artistic repertoire also extends to encompassing photography in both digital and film formats. Employing a wide array of mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, and markers, I strive to capture the essence of my subjects with precision and emotion. My artistic journey has been deeply influenced by a profound connection to nature, finding inspiration in its inherent beauty and diversity. From the delicate intricacies of humble earthworms to the majestic grandeur of winter oak trees, and the timeless allure of the human form, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world. Portraiture, with its meticulous attention to detail and quest for capturing the essence of individuals, is a constant source of challenge and fulfillment. Conversely, abstract art offers me the opportunity to explore boundless creativity, allowing the interplay of line, shape, and color to convey nuanced emotions and concepts. My artistic passion was ignited in 1991 when I first encountered the works of Romanticism, Realism, Pre-Raphaelite, Impressionism, and Post-Impressionism. Influenced by masters such as Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas, Monet, J.M.W. Turner, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Jackson Pollock, I continually seek to refine and expand my artistic vision, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of aesthetic exploration and introspection. As an avid lover of nature and adventure, I have dedicated much of my life to exploring the great outdoors. From the serene landscapes of Texas state parks to the captivating beauty of the coastline, I find inspiration in every corner of the natural world. My belief in the transformative power of these experiences drives my artistic vision, as I seek to capture and convey the essence of our connection to nature through my work. Join me on a journey of exploration and rediscovery as we reconnect our souls with the boundless wonders of the natural world.
