Germany
Born in Freiburg, Germany and raised in Berlin, I studied design at the Lette Verein and trained in fashion, graphic, and later in film design. I graduated as a Museologist in 2022. I don't read words and letters; I read in pictures and writing in images. My mother, Hildegard, passed on to me her gift of art photography - she was my paragon and mentor before she passed away in 1997. I understand my images as documentary, social-political, and conceptual art. My photos are statements of situations in my life. I'm not taking photos for their beauty or fashion. My images are storytelling; I want to make people think. I am the recipient of a curator scholarship from House Lukas Ahrenshoop for the funding period of 2021.
