New York Times - Limited Edition 1 of 10 Photograph

On a cold October day outside of MoMA, I was meeting a friend. Because of my training, I was early. While waiting outside, I noticed a Post No Bills blue board. It was perfect for my Time/Motion studies. I took one frame of a typical New Yorker walking quickly with his Sunday New York Times to the intersection. I try not to explain my art, it goes against everything I've ever been taught. I am now celebrating a half century as a photographer. On a radio interview, I was once asked what my goals are at this stage of my career.Without giving it a second thought I said "I will consider my career a total failure if I don't have twelve pieces in the Museum of Modern Art." Oh my God, did i say that? Do I believe that? I do.
