In my works I depict the various layers of reality and their underlying narrative structures – their disruptions and fragmentations. I’m intrigued with the complexity of identity („Being Barbara“) and the intricacies of nature within a world of artificiality („No escape from paradise“). I’m obsessed with light, its reflections and the structures drawn by its shadows. With seemingly ordinary images I aim to tell mysterious hidden stories.
