Have you ever seen a goose with a green beak? The Cape Barren goose is one of the rarest geese breed in the world and they inhabit the grassy islands off the Australian coast, where this species nests. "Rarity" is such a human concept, to give importance to something unique and uncommon, like a diamond, an artwork, an event, a species. None of this matters to these splendid birds since rarity means nothing to their survival and to live their peaceful lives. Phillip's Island, Victoria - January 2020
