Southern Cross 3 - Limited Edition 3 of 21 Photograph

I bought this cross in a small roadside stand in deep south Texas from an elderly man who had been operating his ramshackle roadside market for years. He sold oranges, tangelos, onions, and items he had carved out of wood. This cross was off to the back by itself on a shelf, not really out with the rest of the merchandise. I asked him about it and he said I could buy it, he had made it himself and painted it himself. I bought it from him and have used it in many photo shoots. I like the handhewn look of it, and I am drawn to photographing Christian iconography in some of my work. All artwork will be printed on fine art quality rag paper (Hahnemuhle or similar quality) and signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity included.
