About The Artwork

Monochrome print of the canopy between two platforms at Bristol Temple Meads rail station, Bristol, England. This building, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, was the western terminus of the Great Western Railway. Before the arrival of cheap air travel, many people travelled west across the Atlantic by taking a train to this station and then embarking on a ship at Bristol Docks.
