Multi-media artist Francesco Majo was born in Italy in 1967. His childhood was influenced by classical studies which somehow inspires his aesthetic even today. Ever since he started using the camera, around the age of 5, Francesco always searched for a different point of view for the pictures he was taking. He always wanted to give an object or a scene a different meaning from what reality represented in order to express a different concept or a criticism. Art, at least in his way of expressing himself, is to communicate ideas that he can't express only with words but that often arise from thoughts transcribed in a notebook and then transformed into sketches. A sort of "Surrealism-Pop" has become the way Francesco uses to express his artistic ideas and criticise the over-consumerist society we live in.
