About The Artwork

"The fugitive, of life, least wanted." The artist was lucky to capture this moment. Where a young dreamer, not so young, at the same time that he is discovering places, he is discovering himself. He moves away from a conventional path, he wants to escape from the normative, from the everyday and he looks for his place, enjoying the path that leads him. The title nods to the mythical phrase "The most wanted fugitive" of the American West, perhaps due to the aesthetics of the image. The old abandoned house, with its thick stone walls, still stands after 200 years, is striking within this rural landscape of Extremadura, one of the most authentic areas of Spain. Printed on the highest quality Fine Art paper, Hahnemühle, Photo Rag Baryta 315 g/m2, with archival pigment ink. Signed, dated and numbered on the back. With certificate of authenticity (which you can include on the back of the photograph when you frame it).

Elena Barón is an exciting and talented multidisciplinary artist (painting, sculpture and photography) who has exhibited her work in numerous national and international exhibitions, such as in the emblematic Kursaal Palace in San Sebastián. Seeking to go beyond academic expectations and interpretations of art, she creates works that leave her soul behind and capture her creative freedom. From abstract compositions to serene and rich landscapes, Barón's work is versatile and harmonious. She constantly investigates with materials as diverse as marble dust, sand, recycled materials, organic matter and resins, which she applies to give textures and relief to her pieces that give them strong expressiveness. Her works have a great plastic richness and she is interested in both visual and tactile emotions. Nature and ecology being her main source of inspiration. Her works are in private collections in Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, and China, among others. « My works come from my soul; Sometimes calmer, others more euphoric; Sometimes more patient, others more restless; Sometimes more nostalgic, others more hopeful. But always rebellious and dreamy. »
