ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Albert Szukalski created large scale outdoor art in Rhyolite, just outside Death Valley National Park. He did not think the plaster would last long, but the dry Nevada Climate preserved his work! I made my image capturing the sculpture as a part of the environment. My zuiko 8mm lens was able to bring in the entire scene, and added a green flare, which I thought added interest ehn shooting straight into the sun!
