This is My Blood Does this sound a bit vampire to you? The bible mentions blood 682 times, and this famous scene represents it as wine. Of course wine is mentioned about 400 times, so the Last Supper might better be transformed into the Last Wine Tasting. Here we have intense conversation, sensory overload, and of course back stabbing. We get controversy over symbolism in the color of the shirts and the names on the wine labels. But do not fret or worry. Have faith. Have faith that all will be revealed in the end. The Last Wine Tasting This is the hidden half of the Last Supper. Leonardo da Vinci painted the food portion, but he ignored the wine. Why? After all, the bible mentions wine and drunkenness over 400 times. They were obviously obsessed by wine. In the end, Jesus told us "eat this, for this is my body... drink this, for this is my blood". Well, this sounds exactly like cannibalism and vampirism. Can it be? The bible is also obsessed with blood, so there's something serious going on here. For now, enjoy the picture that da Vinci wouldn't paint. In vino veritas.
