About The Artwork
I hold a map of Palestine from 1947 – just before the invention of Israel – just before the Palestinian disaster. The hand is partly showing the map and partly discussed by it keeping it away from the unseen body. The map is no longer readable – folded like a dirty rag, become a leftover - a used object to be thrown away.

Born in 1984 in Israel. Lives and works in Israel/Palestine and London, where she finished her MA at the RCA. Her solo exhibition ‘Introduction’ took place at Hamidrasha, Beit Berl, 2010. Selected group exhibitions from 2013 include Laboratory Austria, in the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna and Exile (part of "Host and Guest"), Tel Aviv Museum. Prizes include: New Sensations 2013 Finalist, Metro Imaging - RCA Award , 2013, Google photography prize – Israel, 2012, Constance Fairness Foundation Prize, 2011, Keren Sharet Scholarship 2006-2007, and Honor award at the Photography Department, Bezalel 2006-2008.
