Photography Series Description: "Experiment 752" In this photograph, a solitary, weathered tank offers a poignant reflection on abandonment and nature's resilience. Set against a wild backdrop, the tank's rust and dents narrate a history of use and desertion. The lighting imbues the scene with life, casting a warm glow that contrasts with the surrounding desolation and highlights the texture of decay. The image's simplicity strips away any human bustle, focusing instead on the interplay of nature's reclaiming force against human neglect. It's a quiet commentary on environmental impact and the passage of time, evoking a sense of both memory and warning. This scene invites contemplation of the often overlooked dignity in such peripheral spaces, framing a narrative of the suburban landscape's past, present, and potential future.

Multidisciplinary artist and curator Boris Marinin was born in 1987. Holds a BFA in Screen Arts, and MFA in multidisciplinary arts at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. His artistic process is influenced mainly by self-study, the practice of frustration, and his psychoanalytic analysis. Artists Judith Sasportas, Joseph Beuys, Matthew Barney, and the musical genre Black Metal, inspired artistic decisions and are an integral part of his developmental process. In his art, Marinin tries to differentiate and capture the sublimity of nature using amorphous forms, that do not necessarily relate to the plain material world we know. With his analytical art, Marinin will take us on a journey where we will be exposed to the movement of nature, extinction, and opportunity while uncovering personal interpretations of the connection between an artist and an object in order to show us what lies behind our dimension. Boris Marinin currently lives and works in Vienna, Austria
