About The Artwork
I was standing at the Bird Rock lookout at Jan Juc in Australia. Surfers were coming and going across Bird Rock which is the usual path before pushing out into the surf. These two surfers met in the middle, the timing seemed perfect to me. The enormous southern ocean dwarfs these two surfers. We really are small when scaled against the power and enormity of the ocean.
