About The Artwork

In 1875, a local French man established Le Temple-sur nursery. He was a French botanist who taught himself how to make hybrid water-lilies to create an array of radiant colors. In 1889 he was invited to display his famous colored lilies at the fourth Paris international Universelle fair which attracted 32 million visitors. Claude Monet was one of the visitors. Claude was bowled over by the beauty and vibrancy of Latour-Marliac's "floating"garden. When he got back home in Giverny, Monet bought a second plot of land to create a Japanese garden with wooden bridge and pond where he planted the water-lilies he purchased from Latour-Marliac's nursery. On a bright sunny day in California, I took my high resolution picture of water-lilies for all to see and enjoy. My picture is offered on a large light weight canvas (30x40 inches) with high quality inks and coated to protect the canvas from humidity and fading from UV light. Decorate your home with my outstanding picture "enhanced by the hand of the artist" to be one of a kind.
