"Whisper in the Trees" This fine art black and white film photography shows gigantic oak trees dating back to the 18th century. It was taken with self-designed pinhole camera in the region of Lika, which is situated in mountain Croatia. Offered as a limited edition archival pigment print on a delicate, museum-quality Japanese paper with smooth paper surface. Limited edition of 15 prints (+2 artist's proofs) Print has a paper-white border around the image that is left for easier handling and mounting/ framing. Print is hand-signed, titled and numbered with pencil on the back. Certificate of authenticity is provided. Sold unmated and unframed. His work focuses on experimental, analogue processes, involving self-designed cameras and various camera-less techniques. His recent art has evolved towards mapping and abstract representation of the natural environment, relying on nature as a sole force in image creation. Marko holds an MA Degree in Art History from the University of Zagreb. He exhibited across Europe, United States and has been featured online and in several printed publications.
