VIEW IN MY ROOM
Haiku - These poems, which were originally Japanese, let your fantasy wander, creating wonderful images for the mind. I love to be touched by a haiku every day. Now and then I try to reflect a haiku in an image. This is a very warm haiku by Hubertus Thum: calm. Calm. From the rudder blade drips the evening sky. Hubertus Thum The beauty of mother nature, its inspiration and its spiritual energy are something I am deeply touched by and something very important to me - that' s why I want to create a permanent presence with my artwork. Express yourself, your personality, your values, your roots and maybe even your spirituality through images in your rooms. Or give the gift of art to someone beloved - maybe this image suits one of your loved ones perfectly. Art enhances a room, transforms it, can become an inspiring part of it and make you feel at home in it. Since I believe that art should be affordable for everyone, you can get my images not only as a limited artist edition, but also as (cheaper) print. Both versions are characterized by a permanently high quality: bright colors, which will definitely not bleach out but keep their expressiveness for decades. Sustainability is, besides quality, extremely important. That's why the limited artist edition is printed on Agave paper. Agave is, unlike cotton which is usually used for art prints, fast growing and sustainable in its cultivation. Of course, Agave prints are not distinguishable from prints on conventional paper - they are simply more environmentally friendly

Art to me is comparable to the big Mystery of Love - it is both a form of Freedom and Hope. It is also the expression of the human being and as such it is subject of the duality of our existence. Thus, it cannot avoid illustrating opposites, as it does in everything that it illustrates: No Beauty without Ugliness, no Light without Shadow, no Desire without Fear. Artistically I try to approach these poles through multiple perspectives. That's why in my images you can often find more than one vision of an object. I like to use supporting technologies such as multiple lenses or infrared film, which push the viewer to a different view than the usual perspective. Tamme is a visual artist from Northern Germany. After completing his degree in Art and working as a photographer for several years, he is currently focusing on the artistic articulation of his inner world and his view on the world. As a freemason he believes that every individual is able to improve himself as a human being in order to build a better world through this work on the individual. This is the reason why, despite his awareness of the duality of our existence, he always attempts to first present a positive view of the objects and motives. As a nature lover and frequent traveler, Tamme finds many of his objects and motives in nature or in everyday life. To share the resulting images with his community, he founded Gratus Art (https://gratus.art) ( gratus [lat]: grateful, thankful)
