About The Artwork
This industrial crane in the old port of Santander is the last vestige of a convulsive naval and commercial activity. Its installation began at the end of the nineteenth century and became the most powerful and technologically advanced crane of the time, to a that today is only a symbol of the city and its activity continues to impress its bearing after more than a century since its installation. Printed on Hahnemühle Photo RAG satin 310 photo paper is a slightly reflective matte glossy paper with a pleasant and pronounced texture. Its main feature is the subtle metallic gloss effects of the printed image, while the non-printed area remains matt and without any effect.
