About The Artwork
The mists hung low and thick and white. A thousand shimmering boats hung, glistening, caught between the threads of a thousand beaded spiderwebs. A crystalline palace teetering high on lofty stilts, bending to the breeze that sweeps between their ribs, their panes thrown open in eagerness to catch the wet morning dew. The drawing is inspired by the fragility and momentary magic of the harbour at dawn. A combination of fine technical ink drawing with the dreamy reflections of air and water. A limited edition print of 100 on off-white textured 200g acid-free Italian woven paper.
