I designed this collection of decorative plates inspired by the animal world; I believe that animals are one of the greatest forms of artistic inspiration, wonderful creatures where shape and color chase each other in a unicum of grace, beauty, crazyness and amazement that only nature can give. I love sinuous shapes, whether they are the coils of a snake or the wings of an insect or the powerful beak of a water bird.As in many of my works, the porcelain plate becomes the ideal surface to represent animal subjects; porcelain enhances the color of each subject with its candid sheen, reflecting the many shades that can be seen in the plumage of birds or in the scales of snakes. I love this collection and I hope the joy it gave me in designing it can be understood by all those interested in having it!
