About The Artwork
Back in 2000, I chose Boulogne-Sur-Mer port as theme. Fishermen, sand, graphics signs: anything related to the port and the sea were used. This collage is uniquely made of screen prints. Words of fishermen can be read in their own dialect. Faces can be seen. A ship window is there like a window of the world. A freight number reminds us another usage of the sea.
