"GM NO"by Beng is a series of 2 prints "GM NO Corn" and "GM NO Tomatoes" 2014. Silk Screen on water color paper. Genetically modified food is a global concern, through underhanded means corporations have presented biased and fraudulent science provided by corrupted scientists who are paid to deliberately falsify findings so governments will approve the release of GMO's into the market for human consumption. While it is still unclear exactly how much damage these foods are doing to people, tests with rats fed GMO diets have shown GMO's are directly linked to the growth of tumors which lead to death. Further research definitely needs to be conducted regarding the safety of GMO's, releasing these foods for public consumption before understanding them fully is dangerous and reckless. These prints were made to remind and educate people of the hidden and unknown dangers of GMO foods. All my screen prints are hand made by me, screen prints are NOT GICLEE PRINTS, the application of ink is done by hand, each and every print has small differences and nuances which means even in a multi print run (eg. edition of 10 prints) Each print is still slightly unique.
